| Is our nation truly composed of bigots and fools? How can we truly oppose gay marriages (11 states did tonight)? Does it really hurt YOUR marriage if a gay couple is married or is what really hurts marriages in this country all the divorces STRAIGHT couples are having? Why do the economically impoverished people vote against their and the nations economic interests? Needless to say MS let me down tonight by voting for Bush and more startlingly voting down gay marriages 85-15. This is the state that continues to wave a confederate flag as part of its state flag. The state does a good job of playing up its stereo types and perhaps for the first time I am embarrassed to say I’m from mississippi. |
